9ct Gold Sleeper Earrings – Classic Design

Thursday, January 19th, 2012

Gold sleeper earrings have a special type of fitting that makes them suitable for wear all of the time. Most sleeper earrings are a small hoop with a hinge in the centre allowing them to be opened widely and easily placed in the ear. The opening takes the form of a tube on one side which is hollow allowing for a piece of wire on the other side to be easily slipped inside.

One of the reasons that this style is very popular is that it allows the earring to move, rather than being tightly fixed into one place. This is great for people who have just passed the healing period for having their ears pierced. It is also what gives the style its name as many people choose them to sleep in.

The smaller designs of our 9ct gold sleeper hoop earrings can rotate completely in the ear, making them very comfortable to wear and stopping undue pressure being put on the hole.

We have just increased our range of sleeper hoop earrings to include white gold sleeper earrings and yellow gold polished hoops and some pretty diamond cut models in a range of sizes.

9ct sleeper hoops are discrete and can be worn any time, for this reason they are also a popular choice for school children.
